Event Waiver & Release

This Event Waiver & Release of Liability applies to participation in events, races, volunteer activities, cleanup initiatives, fitness programs, and community activities organized or supported by Mother Nature Corporation Nonprofit.

Designed to support safe, responsible, and transparent nonprofit operations.

1. Assumption of Risk

Participation in nonprofit events, races, volunteer programs, fitness activities, cleanups, and community initiatives involves inherent risks including injury, illness, property damage, weather-related hazards, accidents, and other unforeseen conditions.

By participating, you voluntarily assume all associated risks and accept full responsibility for your participation.

2. Health & Medical Responsibility

Participants acknowledge that they are physically and medically capable of participating in activities associated with the event or program.

  • You are responsible for consulting a physician when appropriate
  • You participate voluntarily and at your own discretion
  • You assume responsibility for any medical conditions or limitations

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless Mother Nature Corporation Nonprofit, its officers, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, partners, municipalities, venues, and event organizers from liability related to injuries, losses, damages, claims, or expenses arising from participation.

This release applies to participation in events, races, volunteer activities, community programs, and related nonprofit initiatives.

4. Virtual Event Participation

Virtual participants are responsible for selecting safe participation environments and complying with local laws, traffic regulations, and safety practices.

Mother Nature Corporation does not supervise virtual participation environments and assumes no responsibility for conditions outside organizational control.

5. Volunteer Participation

Volunteers participating in nonprofit programs, outreach initiatives, cleanups, or event operations acknowledge that participation is voluntary and may involve physical activity and environmental exposure.

6. Photo & Media Release

Participants grant Mother Nature Corporation permission to photograph, record, and use event-related media including images, video, audio, and testimonials for nonprofit marketing, outreach, promotional, and educational purposes without compensation unless prohibited by law.

7. Minors

Participants under the age required by applicable law must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Parents or guardians accept responsibility for minors participating in activities and agree to this waiver on behalf of the participant.

8. Event Changes & Cancellations

Mother Nature Corporation reserves the right to modify, postpone, reschedule, or cancel events due to weather, safety concerns, operational requirements, or circumstances outside organizational control.

9. Emergency Care Authorization

Participants authorize emergency medical treatment if necessary during participation and acknowledge responsibility for any resulting medical costs.

10. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By registering for, participating in, volunteering for, or attending any event or initiative organized by Mother Nature Corporation Nonprofit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Event Waiver & Release of Liability.

Important:

Participation in nonprofit activities is voluntary. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not participate in associated events or programs.
